Glen Boyd Lodge

Glen Boyd Lodge is situated in the gardens of the historical Glen Boyd homestead, steeped in Frontier History. Established in 1853, the Glen Boyd garden are an arboreal delight, with ancient Jacarandas said to be the tallest in South Africa. The lodge overlooks the fields teeming with the game. 

The manor

The main Dwelling was built in 1858. Beautifully restored to its former glory, high Pewter ceilings and original wood work, this house was used by the original farmers to entertain the British officers during the Frontier Wars.
