BACK STORY OF GLEN BOYD
Glen Boyd was established in 1858 after the first of the Frontier Wars.
It was used as a buffer zone along with the other Frontier farms between the Grahamstown colonial establishment and the Fingo tribe across the Great Fish River. It was mainly a cattle area up until the early 1920's, when the Ostrich boom hit the Eastern Cape, it was one of the pioneer farms. When the Ostrich farming last momentum, it became an establishment and successful Angora goat farm.

Tented Camp
The Tented Camp overlooks an exquisite dam. This unique setting blends in with the surrounding bush and is ideal for catching a few fish in the evening, or for relaxing with a sundowner. 6 Colonial tents under thatch and connected by wooden paths offer a unique environment for those wishing to experience something different. The spacious bar and dining room offers a great social area.
Chalets
6 luxury en-suite chalets overlook the grazing fields. The dining room overlooks the swimming pool, tennis court and breathtaking scenery.
